This mobile application was developed by students enrolled in the ECE 429/529 - Mobile Application Development course at the School of Engineering, Mercer University, Macon, GA, USA.
The project was initiated at the request of Daybreak Macon, which tasked students with creating an app that compiles and presents information about services available to the homeless population in Macon. These service details were supplied directly by Daybreak Macon.
In terms of updates, the app has undergone several revisions: in 2024, service offerings were revised; in 2023, the information within the app was updated; and earlier versions include work from 2021, where programming was carried out by Charlie Kendall and Dr. Donald Ekong, with layout design contributions from Trevor Vonzell and Rhonda Williams. The initial version of the app for iOS was developed in 2017 by students Braeden Brettin and Brittany Gary under the guidance of Dr. Donald Ekong, with layout design by Kathy Smith.
